1. Will the current version of OAKII work with Java 1.6?
OAKII Beta 1.6 is compatible with Java 1.6. Please note this version
only works with Java 1.6. The current version of OAKII only supports
Java 1.4 and Java 1.5.

Do I need to keep OAK up while using OAK II?
OAK and OAK II share information therefore any trade information
that you might need from OAK will be available on OAK II and vice
versa, so it is not necessary to have both up. However, we do
encourage you to keep both OAK and OAK II open for your trading
convenience.
3. Who do I contact if my quotes aren’t updating
or turn red?
First check to make sure you still have a live connection, if
you have lost the connection the “quotes” button on
the Monitor screen will be red. To reinstate your feed double
click on the button, if this doesn’t work check that you
are connected to the Internet. If neither of the prior solutions
solve the problem call OAK Support at 877-786-3955.

are the system requirements for my computer
Oak Trading Systems, Inc. recommends that the following system software

5. Do I use decimals in any prices?
Decimal places are only used for Single Stock Futures products.
Prices read with a decimal point followed by 2 digits. (100.01,
99.05, 75.27)
6. Where can I find the commodity symbols?
You will have the option to search symbols by exchange by right
clicking on a box in the far left column (under commodity) on
the quote screen. The search feature is also available from an
order ticket.
7. What months are available?
All months that are available for the product via a/c/e or Globex
will be available on OAK II.
8. What are the trading hours?
For normal trading hours please refer to the trading hours list
available on the Iowa Grain Web site. Modified trading hours will
be available for the upcoming holiday under Holiday Trading Hours
on the Iowa Grain Web site.
9. What is my OAK II password?
After you have been authorized for OAK II your OAK and OAK II
usernames and passwords will be the same.
10. What contracts will I be able to view charts, quotes
and waterfalls for?
Only contracts currently trading on a/c/e and Globex will have
quotes, waterfalls
and charts available.
11. How will I know if OAK is experiencing difficulties
with processing or quote feeds?
A notice will pop up on your screen to tell you the nature of
the problem. This must be acknowledged within 60 seconds of your
receipt, otherwise your connection will be terminated.
12. I use Windows XP and am having trouble, what is
wrong?
If you use Windows XP and are having trouble, it is likely all
you need to do is download a higher version of Java, Java 1.5.11.
